What did we learn?

What have we learnt from Harry Potter ? Its just a stupid book right? WRONG!
We’ve learned many things from Hogwarts,
Through all of Harrys seven years,
And now it’s over, across the world
Potterheads are in tears.
We learnt from Harry, sacrifice and care,
From Ron we learned to be brave,
Lavender taught us to gracefully retreat,
And James taught us to save.
From Lily potter we learned to love,
And from Severus we learned remorse,
From Lupin we learned resilience,
Then Voldemort showed us force.
From Dumbledore we learned things wise and true,
And learned the power of death,
Wormtail showed us you can always repent,
Then Sirius, to laugh in our final breath.
Dudley showed us the power of apologies,
Petunia the destruction of hate,
Molly and Narcissa taught us mothers love,
And Tonks taught us patiently to wait.
Mad-eye showed us constant vigilance,
And Hagrid taught us compassion,
Dobby taught us to appreciate our friends,
And Luna to disregard fashion.
Neville taught us the weak can be brave,
And Hermione that books can’t know it all,
Arthur showed us to be a pillar of strength,
The Ministry taught how to fall.
Bellatrix showed us never to underestimate,
And Percy to follow your heart,
Fleur taught us to love despite looks,
McGonagall, never to fall apart.
Fred and George taught us to cheer up the world,
And Draco the impact of fear,
The Crouches showed the failures of families,
Then Lucius the mistake of a sneer.
Ginny taught us to never give up,
And Kingsley to generate trust,
And Kreacher taught us to always show love,
Even to those in the dust.
For all that they taught us for those seven years,
As they battled for the cause they thought right,
Shows us the flaws and achievements in life,
For which forever, us Potterheads will fight.

War is coming to Hogwarts, the Lament of Helena Ravenclaw


War is coming to Hogwarts,
The war to end the fight,
A bloody end to the years of fear,
Will come to greet us this night.
A scarlet moon is rising,
Stained with innocent blood,
To light a battle for the future world,
A battle fought for love.
Many will die here tonight,
Fighting for what they believe,
But one thing is certain, it cannot pass,
That both of them shall leave.
I will help the chosen one,
When he seeks what his enemy hid,
For I now see the hurt I caused,
The pain for what I did.
Harry, many will die tonight,
As you search for the crown,
Dying to gain you time to win,
Laying their lives down.
They die because they believe in you,
They know what must be done,
But what they don’t know, in the end,
You must die, Chosen One.
To save them from gory death,
To send him to the grave,
To shield them with eternal love,
For innocent lives to save.
So when the boy returns to ask,
To see what should not be found,
My mother’s treasure, a stolen prize,
He shall have without a sound.
