Ruin caught up with Aimee and let out a relieved sigh. "See, not them, let's go before he yells at us."

"y..yes sir" he walked silent up to the castle walking past all the students

Amy put her hands to her ears, trying to rid herself of her own thoughts. She swayed on the spot and muttered under her breath.

She looked at Ruin and then at the professor. 'Professor... I have to speak to you. Can I wait outside your office also?' She asked, timidly for her. She glanced at Ruin and smiled slightly.

Ruin gave her a weary smile back. "Should I wait for you in the dungeon?"

'Of course, dear niece. Though I have Jonny Oliver in there at the moment.' Said the professor. 'Though it shouldn't be troublesome if you were present.'

She nods at Ruin then turns to her uncle. 'I'll make my way there now.' She turns to Ruin and kisses his cheek softly and walks to the castle, heading straight for the professors office, not looking at anyone.

Ruin walked with her until they reached the entrance to the Slytherin common room. "I'll talk to you in a bit." he said, kissin gher cheek and heading inside.

He walked down to the lake with Amy behind him. He picked an open area without any nearby trees, and said ''You first! I've got a big spell I want to try out.''

She followed him down, letting her hair loose as she went. "Well, I don't really know what to show you, you've probably seen it all before. I only tend to learn from books and you've got two years on me" She smiled. "This is something I like from Transfiguration." She pulled out her wand and pointed it at a nearby tree. "Avifors" She said clearly, watching the leaves fall in slow motion and morph into birds. She smiled, watching them fly around above their heads.

''Let's see... this is a new one, might be interesting. 'Ignis Tempestas!' he said, and started waving his wand around in circles over his head. Suddenly fire was appearing quickly around them, and just about after a minute, a full on firestorm was raging around them, scorching everything around them, but not the trees. ''This is aweomse!'' He shouted, waving his wand around still.

Amy watched, fascinated, then frowned as her birds began to fall, burning from the sky. She noticed she was finding it harder to breath in the ring of fire so motioned to him to stop the spell.

''Huh? Oh right. Partis Temporus!'' He opened a way in the storm for them to run through, and when they were through, he attopped waving his wand and the storm died down.

Amy smiled. "Pretty cool, but watch out for suffocating people" She watched the flames die down, almost unconsciously creating her own turquoise flame, hovering above her hand. She realised after a few moments and let it die. "It's seems like the control of fire is a tool easy to underestimate."

''Seems like it! Well, I've gotten pretty good at firespells already, so nothing to worry about... soon enough.'' He smiled and chuckled a bit.

She smiled. "I can't imagine how it would feel, to have control over something so powerful" Her eyes glazed over for a moment as she became lost in thought then the smile returned to her face.

''Just choose something you want to focus on, and go for it! With practice comes master.''

"Well I have.." She trailed off shaking her head. I need to be more careful, I can't be giving things away. "I'm good at Transfiguration" She decided on.

He nodded his head, making a sound of satisfaction. ''Amy, transfigurator of worlds!''

She laughed. "Well I need to have some skills or I'd be totally useless." She looked over to where the flames had finally died. "Nothing seems to have been touched, well, except my birds!"

''Make new ones. The other ones were evil murderers.'' He laughed again.

"They weren't!" She said smiling but inside she shivered at the mention of murder. "But I guess I could make some more, just not from leaves. The trees need them!" She thought for a moment, then pointed her wand above his head. "Avis" She said, watching paper birds shoot from the tip and fly in circles round hsi head.

''Oh no, the killer birds are coming after me!'' He waved with his hands over his head.

"Hey!" She laughed. "They're only being friendly." She flicked her wand, making one bird fly down, landing on her shoulder. "See, not evil!"

''Easy for you to say, you're the evil master!'' He went down and started rolling on the ground.
