The forbidden forest.

There's something special with this place, Hadley thought as she sneaked into the big forest. Once she'd seen a centaur hiding in the shadows and today she hoped she'd see another one. Or maybe something else. A meadow filled with all sorts of flowers was only a few meters away, the perfect place to sit down at. Said and done Hadley sat down in the meadow leaning her back against a big tree.

"I can't help giggling, it creeps up on me unaware!" I smiled. "Of course you're the better brother, and definitely more handsome!" I winked.

''Creepy giggling is creepy! And now I finnaly got it confirmed, I am handsome!'' He shouted a 'Whoo!'' towards the sky, laughing just after.

I laughed and poked him gently. "Dont let it go to your head now!"

''It didn't get to my head, it gets to my face! Look at this handsome face, ey?'' He poked her back, but made no comment at it.

I shook my head and laughed slightly. Vain much? "We could edit your face if you like, I have some ability!"

He faked a worried tone ''Oh no, do not edieth my faceth! It canoth be harmeth!'' He laughed again, feeling in a laughing mood.

I grinned. "Well I wouldn't want to ruin your dashing good looks." I sat up and leaned against a tree.

He sat up as well, opposite side from her and said ''No, we wouldn't would we? I'll spare you from face editing as well, since you're so pretty!'' He winked at her and smiled.

I smiled slightly and blushed alot. Why did this always happen to me? Blushing was sooo embarrassing! "Thanks." I leaned back and picked up a leaf, turning it over in my fingers.

''That colour of red looks pretty on you.'' He noted. It really did, actually. He smiled and asked her ''So, how deep does this forest go?''

I shook his comment off. "It goes along way, I've never been all the way in. We're not even supposed to be in here."

''I suppose, it's called the forbidden forest for a reason. Should we go back then?'' He smiled and looked at her questioningly.

"I don't mind, I don't feel scared anymore." I smiled at him. "It's up to you."

''Hrrm... No, we need more adventures to write in our books!'' He grinned again.

"Then where are we heading?" I smiled at him.

''I've run out of ideas...'' His face fell, making him look like a little boy, all sad.

"Hey, cheer up!" I grinned at him. "Ever met a thestral?"

''A whaaat? What's a thestral?'' He made big eyes.

"They're magical creatures, if you don't know about them I doubt you'll be able to see them. I like to come down and see them sometimes." I stood up, taking his hand and pulling him up with me. "Coming?"

''Sure thing, seems awesome!'' He grinned and followed her.

We walked along for a while, heading for the clearing. As I walked in, leading him with me, I saw a thestral in the corner. I stopped and pointed, whispering, "Can you see it?"

''I can see... Something, it's like a white shimmering in the air.'' He squinted his eyes, seeing the form of a horse in there.

"uh, this may sound wierd but.. have you even seen someone die?" I looked at him seriously.

''Well, in a duel, yes. Why?'' He looked at her curiously.
