The Quidditch Field

They walked into the empty quidditch arena. ''So Jonny, how does it look? Good enough?'' He grinned and waved with his hands at it.

''I had to catch you, didn't I? And by the way, caught!'' He pulled her into a hug.

"Hmmm, ok you win. For now" She grinned as they lay on the ground. "You need to pull up alot sooner if you're gonna try that again!"

''Hrrmmm... Shut up.'' He grinned and poked her side.

"Your not gonna start a poke war again are you?" She said, raising an eyebrow. "You've already been humiliated enough for one day!"

''You can't poke meh, I'm injured.'' He murmured, acting hurt

I stuck my tongue out at him. "Tough cookies!"

Jonny went down to the pitch and started flying to clear his mind of Carly that he had fell in love with. He released the snitch some times and cought it.
He did it several times and just thought of the OWL's and that he needed to practice
to the test and quiditch trials

Jonny felt lonly at the pitch and longed for companionship as hhe flied around the field

Amy walked down and threw her bag down. She grabbed a practise broom and took off, releasing a bludger and grabbing a bat as she went. She began hitting it around, trying to work things out in her head.

I really liked Eric and it had really upset me that he'd called me a mistake. I guess he had been truthful though and I couldn't blame him for that. He hadn't really led me on at all and he'd been as nice as was possible about it really.

She flew around, hitting it further and further as she became lost in her thoughts.

As for Jonny, he's a really nice guy. He'd been nice to me and he'd said he liked my music. She grinned slightly as she thought of it and tapped the bludger away. She'd upset him though, he'd just left. What had she said or done to make him leave?

She walks onto the field, tears streaking her face. "I'm not much of a quidditch player but I can fly," she whispers to herself as she mounts her broom and kicks off hard. 'What was I thinking, telling Jonny I like Eric. I mean doesn't he get the fact that I like him too?' She stops flying for a moment to pull out her wand, summon a beater's bat, and release a bludger. She starts flying faster throwing hard swings at the bludger everytime it comes near her.

Amy turned round as she sent a bludger flying. "Watch out!" She yelled and breathed a sigh of relief as it just missed her. "I'm sorry, I wasn't concentrating!"

She laughs a little, feeling the slightest bit better, "It's okay!" She sends a bludger flying and asks, "So what happened to you? Anything at all?" She flies up alongside Amy smiling slightly.

"Eric broke up with me" She looked down. She wasnt going to mention Jonny, she knew he liked Carly. It seemed she was always second best to someone else. Still, that wasnt Carlys fault, she was just the pretty one.

"Really? You two were so," she searches for the right word, "adorable." She notices Amy was holding something back but she didn't push it. "Who knows though, maybe you'll find someone who's amazing in every single way."

"Eric was amazing" She smiled weakly. "I guess I just wasn't perfect for him." She shrugged. "I need to speak to him really, apologise for being upset about it."

She nods, "I know what you mean..." Her thoughts drift to Jonny and she ducks just in time to dodge a bludger. 'I have to talk to him,' she thought.

Amy returned to hitting the bludgers around, watching them soar around the stadium. "You're a beater then?"

"I don't play but when I do play either beater or chaser," she gives a half smile wishing she were back at Beauxbatons for a moment. "I'm worthless as a keeper and a seeker."

She smiled. "I'm not strong enough for beater, I've played chaser for the team since second year." She hit a bludger away again.

Jonny came walking with his firebolt in one hand and the guitar in the other.
He left the guitar on the ground, mounted his broom and flew up in the air and let out the snitch and chased it. "Too easy" he laughed and catched it and let it go again.

Amy saw Jonny fly up and wondered whether she should leave. This was akward. She waved at Jonny then flew down, jumping on a bludger and putting it back in the chest.

Jonny waved back to amy "Hey Amy" He shouted to her
