Walpurgis Complex Main Chamber

'Flobby, Blinky, Smokey and Screecher!' Apollonius called in curt tones. Seconds later, the four house elves had apparated before him. He kicked the last for being the slowest.

'I have a mission for you that will take you out of this school, out of its grounds, yea, even out of the wizarding world into the cesspit we call the muggle world.' Began Apollonius.

'Once there, you will find muggles for me. They should live solitary lives and preferably be drunk when you take them. I want this to rouse as little attention as possible!' He stressed that last part, and with a whip of his wand lashed out at one of the elves to hold their attention. 'I want people who will not be missed. Their disappearances might raise questions in the muggle world, but it should not be so obvious what has happened that questions are raised in ours.'

'I will require a minimum of two such muggles. You will lock them in two of the cells in the dungeon—this dungeon, not the Slytherin dungeon—' he added, recognising the possibility of these feckless creatures making a stupid mistake 'and then report back to me. In time, we will require that you bring more muggles, but for the present time two will suffice unless you should happen to come across more than two during the same period. Now go!'

In complete unison, the four house elves disapparated.

Apollonius reached across and with his remaining hand delicately brushed the hair from Ruin's face behind his ear. Their eyes met and without a word Apollonius lead Ruin up and onto the sofa on which he reclined and he cradled him as he nourished him with the meal that would leave him with a hunger like none before it.

'It gladdens my heart to see that you do not envy your new brother, Elad.' Said Apollonius in a sensual growl which seemed to cause the very air to vibrate.

Ruin accepting what was offered to him, falling easily against Apollonius. He sucked eagerly at Apollo's finger, pulling back and licking his lips free of the blood that lingered there.

'You are hungry. I can see that you are hungry.' Said Apollonius with a nurturing tone oddly not at odds with his normal demeanour. He drew his finger down along his wrist and the flesh split obediently to reveal all Ruin could want and more.

'Why sip when you are so thirsty?' He asked rhetorically as he held his head in the other hand, gently directing him to the wrist's bouquet of thorns.

Ruin once more took what was offered to him. He lapped and sucked, trying to get as much as he possibly could.

'Aimee doesn't quite have my family's fondness for blood.' Stated Apollonius, as a matter of simple fact. 'It is a family thing, but not on the right side of the family.'

'It takes a particular person to appreciate the majesty of blood; it is the vessel of the soul and by taking it into your body you partake of my very life force. The animal mercury and the fixed sulphur for which the providence of nature alone is competent are given one to another in the sanguine sacrament. Taste my life to the increase of your own; feel your soul electrified by the fire of my own. Life unto life, there is no return.'

"my brother seems to have left us" said Elad "it would be a shame to let such a handsome wound go to waste"

Apollonius purred. 'Right you are, beloved.'

He proffered his bleeding wrist to Elad and felt as Elad's mouth clasped around it, his teeth digging into the wound.

Elad took his wrist too and cut it so that it bled for Apollo "my blood is yours. Drink your fill"

Apollo's teeth were razor sharp and they shredded through his soft flesh with ecstatic pain as they drank from each other.

After several long moments of drinking from Elad's heart, Apollonius tore himself away. 'I have a much better idea,' he began and healed their wounds with the spell 'vulnera sanentur!'

He called for the elves who brought two muggles into the main chamber of the Walpurgis Complex. 'We shall feast until the last drop is drained.' He said to Elad, while the muggles were rooted to the spot with sheer terror.

Ruin glared at Apollo, clearly not finished with what was offered. He chewed on his own bottom lip, his eyes darting between Apollo and the muggles.

'Ah, you're awake after all.' Said Apollonius. 'Good. I'll get one for you too.'

He kicked one of the elves to indicate his order. Once the elf had returned with a third muggle he lashed them with conjured fetters so that they were suspended from the high vaults of the ceiling.

'We will torture these muggles and drink the blood. Their terror and pain will stoke the fire in their blood. Of course, it is not quite as good as magical or pure blood, but it is always nice to take the last drops of life and thereby take the whole life.' He explained to Ruin. 'I prefer my frangentimore torto spell – it seems to add a little je ne sais quois – but the cruciatus curse works well too.'

Ruin looked back and forth between the muggles and Apollo once again. "Before this happens." he says. pointing his wand at the muggles. "I wanted to say that I had made up my mind about making a horcrux. I want to." he said, shivering slightly.

'Oh I suspected as much; more than blood is swapped when two wizards partake of the taboo.' Said Apollonius as though they were discussing something quaint but unremarkable. 'I knew you had a great soul the first day I saw you.'

Apollonius turned to his muggle and pointed his wand. 'Frangentimore torto!' he snarled and a jagged beam of teal and black magic burst from his wand and crawled under the very flesh of the muggle.

The light seemed to leave his eyes as though he had been killed, though biologically he still lived. Through the connection his curse created between him and the muggle, Apollonius could feel the muggle's thoughts travelling up the stream of the curse as though they were salmon through an Alaskan river. They were feelings of soul-crushing dread which were ecstasy to him.

Ruin nodded. "However, I want it in an object that I, myself, can keep. That way if something between Aimee and I does happen, we won't have that...connection."

'That is of course your choice.' Said Apollonius, though he kept his eyes on the muggle as though engaged in some sport. 'You are our equal; a pureblood with only the greatness of your soul to rival the purity of your blood. We seek only fellowship with you, not control as with the halfblood Sareph creature that was my toy.'

Elad pointed his wand at the muggle and let out a fierce cruciatus curse and it writhed within the fetters that shackled it desperately seeking an impossible release "oh, release will come but through the gates of hell which are my mouth. When you finally do die for me, you will be so ruined by my magic that you will not even be able to enjoy the final consolation"

Elad thought to himself... What was that spell Apollo had used on the Hufflepuff upstart? Ah "Crura perfringo!" laughed Elad as a satisfying crunch told him all the bones in the muggles legs had been shattered.

Apollonius turned his wand again on his own muggle. He had a spell which could prevent the mind slipping into insanity; without this (which was assuredly a safety net to allow only a maximum of suffering), the victim could be made to endure new vistas of agony without even the mercy of a shattered mind.

'Infractussempra!*'He said and knew immediately that it had worked; for all the muggle's soul was being tortured by his curse, the new spell held his consciousness firmly behind his eyes which now seemed to radiate desperate suffering.

(OoC: Elad that was a good post. I really liked the 'final consolation' part)

Ruin's eyes were trained on the muggles writhing in pain. It was like an awful train wreck, painful, yet intriguing to watch. He didn't want to look away in case he missed something. A look of worry grew upon his face. "I'm no good at torturing. I have a tendency to just over do it and they end up dying."

(OOC: Are we vampires now?)

(OoC: no lol, just kinky perves But it's all right I pretty much guessed you'd be anti so I added a proviso in my post saying how "you're family, but on the other side" lol)

Aimee walked back in, having had to leave once they begin. She couldn't see it yet alone do it.

'You guys finished?' She smiled at Apollo. 'And where was my muggle to e played with?' She asked with a hint of humour.

(OOC: Trying to make her not so cold towards Apollo lol.)

'Oh really?' Apollonius responded to Ruin with pleased surprise. 'Well, they're muggles and we can always replace them, so it doesn't really matter if you give vent to your wilder excesses.'

Apollo turned from Ruin to Aimee. 'You were not here... it might have been delicious for your muggle to be bound there watching us with ours... with his attention uncommanded the better to take in the vistas of sadism we could show it... in any case, the elves still have yours where they keep them. You can use mine for Ruin's horcrux.'
