Dance.

The great hall doors open. Inside, the hall glows a faint red, the hundreds of candles giving off a deep red flame.
Soft music is playing inviting students inside. The tables are gone, instead on one side of the hall is a long table stretching as far as the eye can see, filled with cakes, cookies, drinks and other goodies in the shape of hearts. There are little tables doted around the hall, surrounding a big dance floor.

The music plays as the 1st students begin to enter.

I never arrived early for anything, but here I was in my sparkly white dress and jeweled heels. why was I even here? I hated Valentines day and anyone who loved it. All I was doing was surrounding myself with people I knew I couldn't stand. But Maybe, I was hoping they would be here, and I could for sure know the truth. The only thing I hated more then Valentines day was being out of the loop and that's where i was presently.

I stepped inside the cheery music moving me. It was upbeat and I sudenly knew why my skirt was so big... Everytime I swayed it moved with me creating an illusion that I actually knew what i was doing. I didnt dance to this music, classical was the sort I danced to. This worked it made me happy. Tonight wouldn't be so bad as long as Jordan and Kayla stayed away from me.

she looked around gazeing at the hall in aw though she was kind of brought back to earth do to her muggle studies paper on the greek/roman god Eros/Cupid oh how she hated not having fun. She took her first couple steps inside the hall kind of feeling out of place, one beacuse she was the one in black two she had no date....yet! She walked to the table picked up a butter beer then walked to a wall to lean on watching as the people came in.

Dylan walks into the great hall wearing dark green dress robes feeling very shy.

She walks over to the boy with a smile " hello!"

Amy walked in nervously. It had taken her a while to get ready and she was nervous after last time.

Sapreh isn't here yet, i'm sure he's just delayed. He wouldn't stand me up, not like the idiot from last year.

She was wearing a long, flowing green dress that just reached her ankles. Her flaming red hair was loosely hung in a bun behind her head, fastened with a golden clip in the shape of a scarab beetle.

She saw Dylan from the library earlier and walked over, smiling. "You look great" she said and turned to the girl next to him, presumably his date, holding out her hand. "Hi, i'm Amy".

He greats the girl that has walked up to him "Hello, I'm Dylan and you are ?" smiles warmly at her .
Smiles brightly as amy approaches "Hello Amy , wow you look very beautiful very breath taking." looks quickly down think he has said to much

I blushed slightly, obviously the girl wasn't his date if he didn't know her name. I smiled at him. "Thankyou" He was looking down as if he was embarrassed. I fingered the clip in my hair absent mindedly, as I spoke to him.

Finds the smiling ge inside himself smiling "may I have this dance" reaches out his hand to her nervous

I didn't see why not? My date wasn't here yet and Dylan seemed nice enough.
She took his hand, smiling. "Of course!"
He looked nervous, and his hand was shaking slightly.

Smiles taking your hand and leading her towards the dance floor

She smiled as they walked onto the floor and looked around at the few couples already there.

There were a few people already dancing, some doing better than others. I smiled at Dylan as we reached the middle.

Smiles at Amy placing arm around her listening to the tempo of the music trying to get the rhythm right . Smiling at Amy the entire time feeling very lucky and happy

She smiled as they danced, trying not to step on his toes.

He was a good dancer, better than most boys she'd danced with. She felt slightly akward doing this when she'd agreed to be here with Sapreh. Still, he wasn't here yet was he?

As he twirled her around he sensed something wrong . He smiled at her as he whispered"Do you feel bad for dancing with me while you had prier engaments"Dylan felt very fortunate for the dance but didn't want Amy sad

She twirled around then turned to look at him.

"Kind of, I mean, I did agree to come with him. But he isn't here yet so this can't hurt."

I did feel kind of akward but I wasn't harming anyone. It was only a dance after all!

OoC: I feel like such a dumbass, we had a test today so I had to go to sleep early! Now Dylan got the first dance

Sareph entered the room, in his black tuxedo with purple accessory that matched his eyes. He saw Amy dancing with another guy and felt a pang of jealousy. He thought 'Well, at least he's a hufflepuff, just as me!'' He had chosen to fleck his eyes gold to show he was a hufflepuff tonight, unlike his normal pure purple. He went over to a bench and waited for the other hufflepuff and Amy to complete dancing all the while wathcing the others and them dance with a smile on his face.

She spotted Sapreh as they danced and she smiled at him. She was relieved he had turned up, she had been worried it was going to be a repeat of last year.

It looks like i'm not going to be stood up like last year. He was smiling too, so he couldn't mind too much about the dancing.

Ooc: Awwww, how did the test go?

He waved at Amy and smiled encouring at her as if saying ''Go on, I don't mind!'' He kept looking at the other dancers, secretly looking for the best way to act under the dance.

She nodded and returned to dancing with Dylan.

Im glad he doesn't mind, I wouldn't want to upset him.

She smiled at Dylan, enjoying the dancing and glad she hadn't yet stepped on his feet.

Ooc: Well Amys tiny so im guessing you though she is wearing heels

Smiles at Amy finishing the dance.Walks her to her date whispering in her ear " Thank you " Turns to her date puting out his arm to shake

"Thanks for the dance!" She smiled at Dylan then turned to Sapreh. "This is Dylan."

I noticed his eyes, flecked with gold. It was intriguing, and the purple in his suit.

''Good evening! My name is Sareph, and it looks like you were lucky enough to get the first dance!'' Sareph took his hand and shook it, feeling a firm grip.

Ooc: Ive gotta go, i'll be back in about an hour!
