Piano wing.

Opening the door she sighted in relief, the room was empty. Walking in Hadley closed the door behind her and sat down by the piano. taking in the atmosphere she just sat there in silence before she carefully started to try different chords. It sounded good, she played a whole melody and for the first time back on Hogwarts, she genuinely smiled. Hadley sang clear tones with her playing, to warm up her voice. Now finally alone, all by herself, she could express herself and the inner feelings she kept locked away. With an long ''Ooh'' she began to sing with such an emotion and empathy in her clear voice.

Being attracted by the beautiful music that echoed to the hallway, Mick decided to take a look into the room and there he found Hadley playing the piano and singing. The music was so beautiful and full of emotion, Mick forgot himself there, standing by the wall, paralysed by what he heard.

This... this is incredible... she is incredible...

After recovering from the paralysis, he decided to go over to the girl and talk to her. Thinking hard of how to start the conversation, he walked towards the grand piano feeling butterflies in his stomach.

I didn't recognise the song that the girl was singing, but it was a good song. 'Do you mind if I ask what song that was?' I ask.

I see a Ravenclaw with whom I do not think I've been acquainted, so I turn to introduce myself 'Hello, Lavinia Featherstonehaugh; pleased to make your acquaintance'

Finishing the song she just sat there smiling when suddently something behind her moved. She turned her head and saw a boy and a girl standing there, blushing from embarrassment Hadley looked down.
Wow this was awkward, really awkward she thought.
''I-I didn't think anyone heard.. I hope your ears still works.'' She took a deep breath and continued. ''I wrote it myself..''

OOC: So like did you all leave or?

He smiles warmly towards Hadley. "Don't worry, my ears still work fine! But I'm afraid they were doing better while you played that song... it's incredible and you wrote it yourself, wow!" Smiles warmly and offers his hand. "Mick Richards, pleased to meet you!"
Turns to look at Lavinia. "Lavinia, that's a nice name you've got there!" smiles as he turns to look back at Hadley. "I'm sure we can both agree you're seriously talented!"

Unsure how to respond to his compliments she skipped it and went straight to her name. ''Hadley Goodstein and i wish i could say the same. Didn't your mum tell you that it's not very nice to be a pry, Mick Richards?'' She said coldly and looked up on him with piercing eyes.

Mick stands there with his smile slightly fading because of the sudden cold reaction from Hadley. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be indiscreet, I just wanted to tell you how impressed I was with your singing and playing!" He looks Hadley into her emerald eyes, but the cold look in her eyes makes him confused: how could this be the same girl who played the piano and sang with such emotion turn so cold so fast?

''Well, thanks.'' This time she spoke in a friendlier tone. ''I just don't like when people sneak up on me like that.'' Hadley most certainly did not enjoy being sneaked up on, it always felt like they scared the sunshine out of her. Not like there is much sunlight in me, she added to her thought and nodded slightly.

Feels now more relaxed as Hadley had spoken more friendly at him and replies apologetically. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sneak up at you, you were just too focused playing that you mustn't have noticed me entering the room and I didn't want to interrupt your playing by simply shouting out 'HELLO!'" Smiles warmly. "So, how long have you been playing piano?"

She did an almost smile towards him. ''No that would not have been such a good idea either.'' Why was he talking to her? She hadn't really invited him to speak more, but this could be good practice. And why knew, maybe he's not as shallow and brainwashed as the others here. '' I was about four or five I think. We had an little piano and one day i noticed it and yeah, been stuck ever since.''

He can't hide his excitement as he listens to Hadley. "Oh, that sounds quite familiar! The same way I was hooked to guitar! And later also piano, drums and bass... kind of anything I could get my hands on!" Smiles and looks Hadley to her eyes, noticing them getting slightly warmer. "I wonder if you can play another song for me? Please?"

''I wish i could play guitar too.'' She said longing. Did he really want her to sing or was this some sort of practical joke? ''You want me to sing? Again?'' Confused Hadley looked at him.

"Well, playing guitar is easy, after you get the idea!" he smiles and pats her shoulder encouragingly. "Of course I want you to sing again! It was so beautiful and soulful, I want to hear more of it!"

''Well I do have another song i wrote last night.'' She turned and faced the piano placing her hands on the first notes. Here it goes, she thought and started to play. First she just played, it was a heart wrecking intro. Hadley took a deep breath and began once again to sing.

"Whoa... you're great!" looks at her, with amazement in his eyes and a wide, warm smile on his face. "You are great at this! Can I play a song for you, on the piano?" Smiles at her.

Hadley blushed, no one gave her compliments. ''T-thanks. And sure.'' She stood up and leaned against the side of the piano.

Flexes his fingers as he sits on the piano stool and touches the keys softly as he tests out how the keys feel under his fingers, then he forms a long arpeggiated Bb-minor chord just to get hang of the key, and he started to sing over the chord progression.

She just stood there, mesmerized by him. How he played and how his voice clang so clear. ''Woow..'' Was the only thing she could say. Well didn't that make you sound very smart Hadley?

Blushes as he looks at Hadley. "I rarely perform in front of other people..." smiles as he get's up from the stool. "It's been a long time since I last played, I've lost my touch..." blushes as he cracks his knuckles and looks at Hadley. "You look quite cute when your leaning against the piano!" Blushes.

''Neither do i..'' She said thoughtful. ''And you sounded like you never did anything else than playing piano.'' Once again she found herself almost smiling and she was just about to crack up when she heard him saying that she was cute. Frowning Hadley looked at him. ''You're kidding right?'' She stood up straight and crossed her arms.

"I'm not kidding! And now that I already started it, you look even cuter with your arms crossed!" He smiled at her warmly, he felt better than he had felt in ages. "Why are you frowning?" Bursts into laugh as Hadley looks even more serious.

''Stop it.'' She said and got back to her cold old self. Was this some sort of practical joke? She sure did not enjoy it. Hadley looked down at her feet feeling uncomfortable.

Looks at her and tries to make her look into his eyes. "Hadley I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, don't worry!" Hugs her and gently pats her back.

''What..Are..You..Doing?'' She said with anger in her voice and pushed him away. Hadley took a few steps back and looked at him with despise.
