Piano wing.

Opening the door she sighted in relief, the room was empty. Walking in Hadley closed the door behind her and sat down by the piano. taking in the atmosphere she just sat there in silence before she carefully started to try different chords. It sounded good, she played a whole melody and for the first time back on Hogwarts, she genuinely smiled. Hadley sang clear tones with her playing, to warm up her voice. Now finally alone, all by herself, she could express herself and the inner feelings she kept locked away. With an long ''Ooh'' she began to sing with such an emotion and empathy in her clear voice.

"I was just trying to make you feel better... that's something that helps me when I'm feeling sad or angry or anything... too bad there's no one to do such thing to me." Looks at Hadley, slightly sad for the cold and angry way she treats him, even though he wanted nothing but to make her feel better.

''But you don't know me. You just burst in here and urgh. Seriously, you simply dont hug someone you dont know.'' Merlins beard, what was wrong with this kid?! Hadley didn't really want to be mean to him, he seemed kind, but she couldn't have a friend. No, that wouldn't work. She wasn't one to rely on others. Self-dependent.

"Oh, yeah sorry... it was just... I had my sensitive moment, I hope you can understand..." looks slightly upset, like a puppy who has lost his favourite toy and thus was scolded by his owner. "But I'll see you again, I guess I should go~"
Start's walking towards the door.

Okay he gave her the most heart breaking look ever. She couldn't be mad at him. ''Okay..Mike or what your name was. I'm sorry. You just scare the sunshine out of me.''

"Mick, not Mike!" He walks back to her and smiles carefully. "Hadley, is everything all right with you, you seem like something is bothering you, can you tell me, I promise the help you as well as I can!"

''Mick then, and i am perfectly fine.'' She didn't sound as angry, but she was far from glad. And Hadley still held her arms crossed .

Mick measures Hadley from head to toes, not pleased with her answer. It was obvious she had something on her mind but wouldn't tell it because she didn't trust Mick enough. He began to wonder, what could be that serious, how could he do her best to help her and most importantly, get her trust him. "Are you sure you are fine? You look very pale!"

''I simply don't want to talk about it.'' She studied him back, he was much taller than her. A foot and a half she guessed. What was his game? Why did he continuously try to have an conversation. No one never spoke to her and now, bam, he spoke to her.

"But I want to, I can see it worries you a great deal!" Looks at her eyes sincerely, wishing she would give in to him. It was hard to think of ways to show her that he could be trusted... if she could trust him, maybe he could trust in her too, that would be very unique in his life, to truly trust somebody, to feel comfortable with the fact he wouldn't be judged or ignored, to feel that he's just not alone in his little bubble where he keeps everything by himself. He sighs and touches the piano gently. "I remember how my father didn't like it when I got interested in music, because when I got interested in music, my interest in sports faded away fast... since then I've had a hard relationship with him, not in the way we hate each other, we just feel awkward when there's just us too..."
Sits down and plays a few simple chord arpeggios and start's to sing:

"That's a song called 'Father and Son' by Cat Stevens, I hate that song but I still listen to it." Looks at the piano absently.

Why did he tell her this? She felt slightly sad for him, music was a big impact in her life and luckily her parents couldn't care less of what she did. And now he was singing again, great. Surely he was good, but she wanted to sing and play to. That was sort of the main reason she was in this room. She kept quiet and just listened.

Gets up from the chair. "I'm sorry, I guess you were here first, I should've waited for my turn." Laughs slightly. "If you want, I can leave, if you don't want to talk to me that's okay, I understand well." Looks away, through the window and stays quiet for a moment, trying to think of things he could talk to her.

''I'm not the friendly type Mick.'' She said and sat down by the piano. Hadley had a hard time being a bitch against him, he was way to nice to deserv it. But she couldn't run around having a friend. That just wasn't her.

He stood there, looking at her, admiring her beautiful hair and feeling empty. "All right, I understand..." he walks away, but can't seem to get her off his mind, something about her keeps troubling him...

When he left she started to play, made it up as it came. Figured out a pretty good meoldy and added lyrics to it in her head before she sang them out loud. Yes, this could be a good song.

Mick didn't know what to say. He had been there all the time, throughout the song, leaning against the door. He didn't know what to say, although he knew that he only wanted to say something to her. Anything. Anything good enough that would matter and make her feel better, but even how hard he tried, he was left without an idea. He sighed and started walking slowly away towards the castle grounds. "Might as well go to the lakefront, with my guitar," he said silently to himself.

She finished the song and started to make up a new melody. Hadley had the inspiration, there was no stopping now.

Unable to figure out the chorus she sighted loudly and left.

Mick stops at the hallway and listens to the song. It somehow makes him feel slightly better. He took out his notebook, a small booklet he used to write in his ideas, poems and lyrics.

When she walked out of the room she saw Mick. ''Still spying i see''

Winces as he was focused writing his poem. "I wasn't spying on you but I'm sorry if it felt like it..." tries to smile but it's just a tired half-smile. "I was just finishing a poem I got inspiration in!"

''I see.'' Hadley was about to ask what he had written but decided to just leave. So she kept on walking instead.

Mick stands there, waiting for a response, but as Hadley gives him none, he quickly scribbles something down and goes after her. "W-w-wait! Hadley, wait..." Mick catches her and gives her a page out of his poem book. "I want to give this thing to you!" He cleanly folds the paper before giving it to her. "Read this any time you feel sad or lonely!"

Surprised she took the note. ''Well.. Thanks i guess.''

Smiles nervously and then quickly walks away. "If there's anything you want to know or ask, just consult me!" He says over his shoulder, not looking at her. Looking at her while leaving would be too hard for him, since he was very badly bothered with something in Hadley...

''I will..'' She said quietly and walked around a corner.

I really do love this place, Hadley thought as she stepped into the Piano Wing. She'd spent most of her time in here the past days and last night she had come up with and new song. She had to play it, she just had too. Smiling Hadley sat down by the big black shining piano. Randomly she pressed a few keys before she started to sing.
