Piano wing.

Opening the door she sighted in relief, the room was empty. Walking in Hadley closed the door behind her and sat down by the piano. taking in the atmosphere she just sat there in silence before she carefully started to try different chords. It sounded good, she played a whole melody and for the first time back on Hogwarts, she genuinely smiled. Hadley sang clear tones with her playing, to warm up her voice. Now finally alone, all by herself, she could express herself and the inner feelings she kept locked away. With an long ''Ooh'' she began to sing with such an emotion and empathy in her clear voice.

She stared at him, "Wha- how? Nevermind... So like this?" She stikes the chord perfectly and smiles at him. She didn' feel quite alone, then again she really never was alone. 'Definitely not in love,' Carly thought, [i]'Why would I be in love with him when I have Eric... though he's not here right now...'[i]

"My mum had me playing from the time I could walk." he explained, watching as she hit the chord. "Yes, like that." he gave a slight smile. "If you ever need help with music. Find me. Though it'd be best if you kept it a secret. Not everyone knows I'm basically a professional." he said with a hint of teasing in his voice.

"Well, usually, when someone's perfect at something they're horrible at another thing." Carly smirks and plays a small melody, "Personally, for me, I'm horrible at Divination and Care of Magical Creatures if your saying subjects."

"I don't even know if anyone is good at Divination." he said, a small chuckle leaving his lips. "I'm terrible at Care of Magical creatures. I'm best at potions. Another thing I've grown up learning how to do." he said, looking over at her.

'Ah, a piano.' Said Apollonius and he sat down before its keys. 'It is a dance poor Apollonius knows well... let us see if he remembers the steps.'

'This song comes to us from a mythical land across the gaping sea.' He stroked the ivory and began to sing:

Ruin closed his eyes before turning to glare at Apollo. "You're terrible sometimes, you know that?" he asked before turning to Carly and sighing. "I'm sorry that I didn't have a chance to introduce myself. Ruin Lafayette." he said, shaking his head, "I need to go, however." he stood up and left the room quickly, waiting until he was well lost in the corridors before slumping against the wall and hiding his head in his knees.

'It must have been my off-key singing.' Said Apollonius heartily.

"Oh yeah... that's definitely the reason," she rolls her eyes at him, "What happened to Ruin? Before that... songy thing..." She smiles sweetly at Apollo, attempting to get what she wants. In this case, words.

He walked into the room and saw carly and apollo. "well hello there" he said and rolled his head

"Oh hey Jonny!" she smiles. She looks at Apollo then back to Jonny, "I was playing piano, then Ruin came and showed me an easier was to play a chord, then Apollo, are you sure you don't prefer Apollonius, came in and played a song, at least I'm pretty sure it was a song, then Ruin left, and now we're here!" She give a small sigh and pulls her hair into a side braid. "Quoi de neuf?" she smiles then adds, "What's up?" (OoC: I think google is my new best friend... >.>)

"nothing..." he said cold and looked over to apollo then adds "and you?"

'Why's he so co-,' she stops thinking and whispers, "Oh." She puts her feet on the bench and smiles at Apollo, nudging him to the edge every few seconds. She looks to Jonny then nudges Apollo a bit to fall, making him fall to the floor.

"not.. funny" he said just like snape

"It's not even three feet off the ground..." mutters Carly as she pulls out her wand. She picks Apollo up, setting him back down with a simple 'Wingardium Leviosa' and a swish and a flick. "Better?"

"a bit.. but not much.." he said cold and walked towards the door

She looks really confused, "Jonny wait!" She jumps off the bench and pins him against the wall. "Did Eric say goodbye to you?" (OoC: Yepp, she thinks thats why he's all... well not really mad...)

'Songy thing? I see somebody passed finishing school with flying colours.' Said Apollonius, laughing lightly. 'He just seemed to dash of.'

"It's more of a habit than bad teaching, Apollo. My dialect, or way of speaking," Carly murmurs then adds, "That's just what happens when you sit around in your house on a muggle computer all summer in Paris, with a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower by the way." She walks back and sits herself on the floor by the piano. "You might also get a French accent too. But I got that out of me," she smiles up at him.

'kon...pyuu...taa... I've heard of those. Aren't they dark magic devices? Something like a palantir?' Said Apollonius warily.

She rolls her eyes then pulls out a book, mainly about muggle technology. "They're about as dark magical as a piece of dust..." Carly mutters, flipping through the pages looking for computers.

'Technology is their substitute for magic, right? I once heard they had a way of storing lightning for some reason or another. Probably for a weapon.' Apollonius responded, eyeing the pages of the muggle-studies book.

She thinks for a moment, "I think they use lightning for electric... it makes stuff work, not quite sure how. Maybe they do use it for weapons too." She grins and adds, "You could always ask a muggleborn."
